Sure Score is Man Mat's flagship range of creasing matrix about which we have built a complete system of pre-formed make-ready products, associated tools and consumable items, coming together as the Sure Score creasing make-ready system.
The Sure Score system is the result of over 21 years of continual refinement and developed. First introduced in 1988, at that year's IPEX show, Sure Score has continued to be Man Mat's most popular and enduring creasing matrix product.
All products in the Sure Score range (where applicable) have bevelled edges as standard and features an accurate channel section, manufactured to exacting tolerances from an advanced thermoplastic polymer.
The specialist double-sided adhesive system, supplied by 3M, has been designed specifically for the substrates and offers exceptional initial tack and ultra-high shear strength suitable for production runs of any length. Yet when the matrix is removed on completion of the run, it lifts away cleanly without leaving any residues on the platen.
The patented method of locator attachment to the matrix, ensures accurate registration, simply and effectively. With many different products and sizes being supplied with a universal locator, which due to its advanced technical design, fits easily and positively onto several different rule sizes, the need to carry excess inventory is eliminated. When the locator is removed, because no adhesive was used in the first instance, there are no sticky residues left on the matrix surface.
