Based on the formulae as described in “two product families”, the calculator is very easy to use.
a) Enter board thickness (calliper not density) in the first data entry box
b) Select the rule width (pt size) from the second drop-down box
c) Select the basis for calculation from the third drop down box. If the user is unsure, then start with the value of 2 x board thickness

The recommended product is then displayed in the “yellow” results box.
If the conditions are outside the range value for a board thickness/rule width combination then no product recommendations are made.
