Started in 1983 as the European subsidiary of an American creasing matrix manufacturer, which itself started producing creasing matrix in 1965, Man Mat became independent in 1985.

In 1988 Man Mat introduced its Sure Score range of creasing matrix and accessories at that year's IPEX show. Setting new standards in quality, performance and value for money, Sure Score quickly established itself in the market and remains our top-selling product,

In 2006, in response to customer demand, Man Mat introduced Poly Score, a cost-effective, plastic-based creasing matrix system that brings Man Mat quality to the plastic-based matrix sector for the first time.

2009 marked an exciting new chapter for Man Mat. Following a takeover by C&K Extrusions in September of that year, Man Mat's warehouse and manufacturing lines were relocated to C&K's state-of-the-art facility in Tonbridge, Kent, just an hour away from London.

C&K Extrusions has specialised in thermoplastic extrusions since 1972. It manufactures extruded profiles from a wide range of materials which are utilised across a broad spectrum of industries. It has attained an enviable reputation for fast, innovative design solutions and high quality of service from its blue chip customers.
